Paul Blais, of RE/MAX Elite in Edmonton, needed a pièce de résistance for the new office.
It just so happens he found exactly what to put on that open wall space at the RE/MAX of Western Canada Activate Conference earlier this year.
Artist Linda Turner generously donates her time and talent to create stained glass art pieces that are auctioned off in support of the Children’s Miracle Network (CMN).
With the winning bid of $11,500, Blais was able to purchase a vibrant stained glass art piece, custom made to include a RE/MAX hot air balloon and a CMN hot air balloon flying over a valley. They money from his bid was donated to the CMN to be dispersed to western hospitals including Edmonton’s own Stollery Children’s Hospital.
“It’s a beautiful piece of art. It showcases, again, our commitment to our core values of giving back to our communities,” Blais said. “When you walk into our office, it’s one of the first things you’ll see.”
The Re/Max Elite REALTORS® are committed to helping the city’s children’s hospital. Last year, the office raised more than $90,000 for the Stollery.
“We have to walk the walk and talk the talk when it’s our opportunity to step up and help the CMN,” Blais said.
