A little golf turned into another big donation for the London Health Sciences Centre.
Sutton Group – Select Realty Inc. recently presented a cheque of $9,000 to the health centre’s First Episode Mood and Anxiety Program (FEMAP). The funds were raised at the Sutton-Select Invitational Golf Tournament held in September at the FireRock Golf Club. This Sutton team has hosted golf tournaments since 1992 and raised more than $100,000 for local charities.
“There was great support from our office, other real estate professionals, and the construction community in London,” said Ashley Winder, a REALTOR® and chair of the Sutton Group – Select Realty Inc. golf committee.
Ashley would like to acknowledge the assistance of the entire golf committee, including fellow REALTORS® Jim Smith, President of LSTAR, and Patricia Greasley, marketing/advertising coordinator.
“We raised funds through auctions, raffle tickets, and the generosity of corporate sponsors including our office, FCH Development Group, Southside Group, TD Canada Trust, CIBC, Progressive Countertops and Sloan Works. Among the top auction items were tickets for the Maple Leafs, golf for four at Riverbend and magazine advertising.”
