Greater Moncton REALTORS® du Grand Moncton has announced $3,000 worth of bursaries to four graduating high school students who have made an impact in their communities.
The real estate board is committed to helping build better communities and supports graduates who have made a significant contribution to the Greater Moncton area through their volunteer efforts.
The 2016 bursaries were awarded to Laura Jones, Abigail Bradley, Eryn McNally and Olivia Turner.
“These young women are proof that we can make a difference and it gives us great pleasure to acknowledge them for these efforts,” said President Trent Wilkins.
“There are so many bursaries that provide rewards based on marks but REALTORS® know it takes more than just great marks to make great places to live. That is why Greater Moncton REALTORS® du Grand Moncton puts full weight on volunteerism for these 4 annual bursaries.”

The application form is sent annually to all high schools in Albert, Westmorland and Kent County, N.B.
“It is really important that students record their volunteer work and have supporting documentation for this application,” said Kerry Rakuson, Executive Officer.
Greater Moncton REALTORS® du Grand Moncton is proud to support young adults’ education dreams and believes youth who are committed to volunteerism will be life-long volunteers who make a difference in the quality of life for their communities.
