Every May, Royal LePage Gale Real Estate and Royal LePage Team Realty host their Annual Denim Day Company Breakfast and Charity Auction. Auction items are donated and bid on by their Sales Representatives, staff, and sponsors. This year’s event took place on May 13, 2014. The passionate group showed their support for the cause by wearing lots of pink. They played Pharrell Williams’ infectious song “Happy,” took lots of fun selfies, and showed great generosity by raising over $46,000 for The Ottawa Hospital Foundation and breast cancer research.
The auction was briefly interrupted when the event’s auctioneer, Broker/Owner Kent Browne, was presented with a surprise Community Builder Award from United Way Ottawa, recognizing him for his extensive charitable work in our community both locally and nationally. Congratulations, Kent!
