The Real Estate Board of the Fredericton Area, Inc. held a Bowl-a-thon Fundraiser at Kingswood Lanes in late fall to raise money for the Fredericton Community Kitchen, Woodstock Community Kitchen and the Oromocto Food Bank. Members joined together to raise just under $12,000 through pledges and sponsors at this event.
Over the past three years, the Board has raised $49,000 by holding their Harvest of Hope Bowl-a-thon.
The Fredericton Community Kitchen focuses on actively furthering partnerships with agencies across the community to collectively address food insecurity. No one should go hungry in Fredericton. The Oromocto Food Bank aims to fight hunger by providing clients with short term emergency food and clothing.
