On November 15, the London and St. Thomas Association of REALTORS® provided bread in support of The London Homeless Coalition‘s twice-yearly Soup ’n Bread Day at Covent Garden Market Square.
“Our intention with Soup n’ Bread is to have a community conversation about the impact poverty, homelessness, and the lack of affordable housing have on our community,” said Event Coordinator, Shelley Yeo.
Additional items for the event were donated by The Salvation Army, Mission Services, All My Sisters and Women’s Community House, who organized and manned the Free Store.
The London Homeless Coalition (LHC) works to advise, shape and coordinate community responses to homelessness and related needs to the London area.
