Regina’s North Central Family Centre will plant the seeds of hope in more young people than ever, thanks to the generosity of Regina REALTORS® and friends on the golf green.
Including a $5,000 contribution from the Association of Regina REALTORS® Inc. (ARR), this year’s ARR Annual Charity Golf Tournament raised a record $15,425 for the North Central Family Centre’s Youth Empowerment Program. That’s $1,200 more than last year and brings the total the ARR has contributed to the NCFC over the past eight years to more than $85,000.
Proceeds from this year’s tournament will purchase lawnmowers, shovels, rakes and a trailer for the Centre’s Clean the Neighbourhood Project, as well as books and supplies for the Children’s Literacy Program.
“Our goal is to ensure that our youth will someday have decent jobs, comfortable housing and a safe neighbourhood in which to raise a family,” says Sandy Wankel, the North Central Family Centre’s Founder and Executive Director. “We are eternally grateful to Regina REALTORS® for their partnership and the lasting difference they’re making in our community.”
