The Ontario REALTORS Care® Foundation was pleased to welcome the return of the REALTORS® Got Talent Gala on Saturday, October 20, at the Premiere Ballroom and Convention Centre in Richmond Hill.
The evening kicked off with cocktails, followed by dinner and dancing until midnight. The theme of the evening was “Celebration of Milestones,” and featured 10 REALTOR® performers: Deborah Abraham, Christina Chan, Cynthia Lai, Nancy Maria Leung, Glen Michael, Robyn Kay Pilarski, Michael Rogers, Maryjane Viejo, Brian Walker, Michael Yim, and 2008 REALTOR® “Idol” John DiMichele.
Guests danced the night away to the musical stylings of the renowned 21-piece, Metro Big Band, while enjoying ballroom dancing, singing, silent and live auctions, and door prizes.
The organizers include former Ontario REALTORS Care® Foundation Chair Cynthia Lai and Honorary Co-Chairs Norm Kelly (Councillor, City of Toronto) and Mr. Dennis Au-Yeung (Chair of Board of Governors of the Mon Sheong Foundation).
In late November, Foundation President-Elect Richard Hawkins accepted a cheque for $17,000 of the event’s proceeds from Cynthia and Dennis. Proceeds were also distributed to the Mon Sheong Home for the Aged.
