On May 26, 2011, volunteers from the REALTORS® Association of Lloydminster & District proudly donned their hardhats and donated some time and elbow grease, participating in a Habitat Build in Lloydminster. REALTORS® raised the walls of a duplex being built by Habitat for two deserving families in need.
On June 10, 2011, the Century 21 Lloydminster office hosted a barbecue to raise funds for the Habitat for Humanity “On the Border” Lloydminster Society and their building projects. RCMP officers, clad in red serge, leant a distinguished presence to the event. Century 21 Lloydminster generously matched the $2,000 raised at the BBQ, but the spirit of giving didn’t end there! The Alberta Real Estate Foundation stepped up to the plate and matched this $4,000 amount, bringing the grand total raised for Habitat for Humanity to $8,000 at the end of the day.
