Geoff and Regan Archambault have been honoured with the Canadian REALTORS Care® Award 2019 Proudly Presented by REALTOR.ca, for their outstanding contributions to their community of Winnipeg.
Geoff and Regan support and complement each other as business partners in real estate and in their tireless individual and joint philanthropic efforts. They became passionate about giving back following a close call in 2007. After a serious collision with a deer that totalled their car, Geoff and Regan were told they were very lucky to be alive. “We don’t know when it’s going to be the end for us,” explains Geoff. “That’s why we’re giving it away now—our time, our money—we have to do it now.”
Geoff and Regan, who have two children, started by stepping up in areas that affected their family life. They got involved with their local community centre, where their kids played sports. Over the years, they branched out and took on more and more volunteer roles for charities and causes that spoke to them. Geoff and Regan have made an indelible impact on many organizations, including the Concordia Foundation, K.I.D.S. Kenya Initiative for Development and Sustainability Inc., Rotary Club of Winnipeg East AM, and the Valley Gardens Community Centre, just to name a few.
The Archambaults have become renowned in Winnipeg as generous donors, effective board leaders and community builders. They are sought-after for their compassion, their expertise and their knack for bringing the right people together to tackle community needs as a team.
In Geoff and Regan’s honour, the Canadian Real Estate Association has donated $5,000 to K.I.D.S. Kenya Initiative for Development & Sustainability Inc.
