In 2005, a group of REALTORS® decided to combine their joy of riding motorcycles with raising money for kids by hosting weekly “Bike Nights” in their community. At Bike Nights, motorcycle enthusiasts meet, enjoy delicious BBQ burgers, win door prizes, and most importantly help make a difference in the lives of local youth. Since its inception, over $200,000 has been raised for charity.
Bike Nights, presented by the REALTORS® Community Foundation, take place every Wednesday night through until September at The Ranch Roadhouse in Edmonton. Proceeds from Bike Nights support two charities: YESS (Youth Empowerment & Support Services), which supports at risk youth in a caring, compassionate, and concerned manner, as well as E4C’s School Lunch Program, which ensures 2,300 children in 12 high-need schools receive a hot, nutritious meal each school day.
The REALTORS® Community Foundation – Edmonton and area is proud to have returned over $3 million dollars to Edmonton & Area charities since 1986. The Foundation is supported by REALTORS® who generate fundraisers and donate hundreds of volunteer hours each year.
