Over the past five years, REALTORS® in Greater Vancouver have donated or fundraised at least $10.7 million for their community. In 2011, they gave $2.2 million, as well as countless volunteer hours.
“Through good times and bad, REALTORS® continue to support their communities and a wide variety of charities at home and farther afield,” says Eugen Klein, President of the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver for 2012-2013.
To determine each year’s total, REBGV members and real estate offices are asked to share information about their charitable donations with the Board.
REBGV’s REALTORS Care® programs include the annual Blanket Drive and support for housing-related charities.
