It was a busy month for Sing Lim Yeo, REALTOR® and Senior Vice-President of Royal Pacific Realty Group. On June 15, 2015, he was awarded the the Order of British Columbia (O.B.C.). On June 22, he received the 2015 Medal of Merit from the Vancouver Chinatown Lions Club.
Both awards were in recognition of Sing’s extensive volunteer work and philanthropy. During 30 years of volunteerism, he has helped raise more than $20 million and the range of his charitable interests has been extraordinary. Recipients of his generosity include Tapestry Foundation for Healthcare, S.U.C.C.E.S.S. and the Chinese Cultural Centre, to name a few.
Sing helped found the BC Children’s Hospital REALTORS Care® Endowment Fund, significantly contributes to the continued success of the REALTORS Care® Blanket Drive, and is a longtime Director of the Canadian REALTORS Care® Foundation.
Sing has received many other awards for his good work in the community over the years, including a REALTORS Care® Award from the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver, the Giving Hearts Award for Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser from the Vancouver Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and the RBC Top Canadian Immigrant awards.
