The 2nd Annual Feed the Need, sponsored by Century 21 Executives and EZ Rock, was a huge success! Held at the Uptown Askews Location, Feed the Need raised $8,250 in cash and food for two local Salmon Arm food banks and exceeded the previous year’s total by over $2,200!
The Salvation Army and Second Harvest will each receive over $4,000 in cash and food to help support the work they do in the community. At the event, donations were also collected by Parkland Building Supplies in Sicamous and will be used to support the Sicamous Food Bank. In total, $5,750 was raised in cash and $2,500 in food. That’s the equivalent of 33 full shopping carts valued at $250 each!
