On June 9, 2011, the Brandon Real Estate Board hosted a golf tournament at the Shilo Country Club. $1,000.00 was donated to the MREA Shelter Foundation, whose mission is to support shelter-related causes that improve the quality of life of Manitobans. All remaining proceeds from the tournament will go to fund BREB’s annual Senior Christmas Lights Tour, where seniors from the community are treated to a tour of Christmas lights throughout the city, a meal, and festive entertainment.
