For the sixth consecutive year, Manitoba REALTORS® showed their generous natures by turning out by the dozens for the Manitoba Real Estate Association’s Siloam Mission Easter Dinner on Good Friday, April 23, 2011. Over 85 volunteers arrived to serve up a hot meal to Winnipeg’s less fortunate. Roberta Weiss, Chair of the MREA Shelter Foundation said, “When asked to help, Manitoba REALTORS® don’t hold back. The response for volunteers this year was overwhelming and because of such great turnout, the day was a huge success for everyone.”
Said Siloam Mission Executive Director Floyd Perras, “We’re always excited when local businesses partner with Siloam to make their city a better place, but we are especially grateful to the Manitoba Real Estate Association for serving up Easter dinner for the sixth year in a row. That kind of commitment is rare and cherished by Siloam.”
