On May 6, 2012, Lori Lind, a REALTOR® with Goodfellow & Goodfellow Real Estate Ltd., led her team “Mass Synergy” on a beautiful day, walking the MS Walk with friends and family at the Max Bell Centre located at the University of Manitoba, in Winnipeg.
Our team “walks for those who cannot walk for themselves to find a cause and an ultimate cure for MS,” explains Team Captain Lind.
The strong dedicated team raised $28,174.00. This included selling 250 tickets to Rumors Comedy Club, enabling them to donate half the ticket-price profits. The “Drive One 4UR Community” event at Parkside Ford raised $20 for the MS Society of Canada for every person who test drove a vehicle.
The “Mass Synergy” team will be awarded by the MS Society in November as being the “Top Friends and Family” fundraising team for 2012.
“I may have MS, but it does not have me; WE WILL END MS,” says Lind.
