On May 26, 2011, REALTORS® from the Brandon Real Estate Board participated in the YWCA Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event, raising $920.00 to fund programs that help victims of family violence. The event challenged men to strap on high heels for a mile-walk in Brandon, giving them the opportunity to raise money through pledges and to increase public awareness concerning the issue of family violence.
