The Greater Moncton REALTORS® du Grand Moncton members were busy once again raising funds in support the Sue Stultz Turkey Drive. Thanks to generous support, this year they were able to deliver over 2100lbs of turkey to the local fire station.
The Sue Stultz Turkey Drive originally set out in 1991 to collect turkeys for Food Depot Alimentaire (formerly the Moncton Food Bank). In the first 6 years (1991 to 1996) they were able to gather about 900 turkeys in total. Since 1997, they have collected almost 55,000 turkeys with a total turkey value of over $1,000,000.00! This is an incredible testament to the generosity of the citizens of southeastern New Brunswick.
