For the past sixteen years, the Sutton Group – Select Realty Inc., Brokerage has successfully raised much-needed funds for a variety of charitable organizations in the community. This year, the Sutton – Select Charity Golf Tournament, which was held on September 5, 2008 at the Bear Creek Golf & country club, raised $5,282.13. The Big Sisters of London were the recipients of this generous donation.
Big Sisters of London is a non-profit organization supported by the United Way of London & Middlesex. Big Sisters will match a girl with an adult female volunteer in the belief that an opportunity for friendship, communication, moral support and new experiences will create in a girl a sense of well-being, of personal and social responsibility and healthy maturity.
Throughout the year, Sutton – Select associates keep the golf tournament close to their hearts. The Golf Committee, chaired by Suzanne O’Toole, together with Bruce Sworik, Broker of Record, spend six months diligently planning the event. Fundraising is accomplished through silent auctions, raffle tickets and the generosity of corporate sponsors.
In return for their goodwill, members of the Sutton Group – Select Realty, Inc. team, together with their clients, friends, and related business associates enjoyed a wonderful day of golf, delicious food and prizes – everyone went home a winner!
