The 9th annual Century 21 Heritage House Golden Gala was held in an atmosphere of elegance with a splash of Parti-Gras fun on January 17, 2009, with over 500 guests in attendance. Each year, the event brings together Oxford County and notably, the community of Woodstock, in a joint venture to raise $100,000 for specialized equipment for the new Woodstock General Hospital, which broke ground this fall. Over the past nine years, the Century 21 Heritage House Golden Gala has raised $500,000 toward the building of the new hospital and with this year’s event an additional total of $200,000 for specialized equipment. The committee strives to do their part to advance health care in Oxford County through supporting the purchase of state of the art equipment with the participation of many of Woodstock’s corporations, businesses and citizens. The small volunteer committee of seven REALTORS® from Century 21 Heritage House Ltd. have already begun plans for the 2010 event. They are continuing on their mission to realize a total of one million dollars by 2013!
