The Quinte & District Real Estate Board held their Annual General Membership Meeting on January 30, 2008 and was pleased to be able to present the Prince Edward Hastings Affiliate for Habitat for Humanity with a very generous cheque.
Donations were raised at the Board’s annual golf tournament and through 50/50 draws held throughout the year. A total of $6,653.97 was raised as a result of these ongoing projects.
OREA Foundation Representative Glenda Brindle was on hand to present Habitat for Humanity with a cheque totaling $2,500. With this addition, the OREA Foundation was able to bring the donation total up to $9,153.97.
Thanks go out to Program Chairperson Roy Millar and his committee members Mia McQuaid, Rachel Cane, Debbie O’Brien, Cheryl Carrier, Barb Hieb and Joanne Hormann. Their hard work on the 2007 Golf Tournament helped make this presentation possible.
