On September 10, 2012, Keller Williams Lifestyles Realty Brokerage presented a cheque in the amount of $5,138.86 to the Hospice of London, which will help the charitable organization continue to provide pallative and bereavement support to hundreds of individuals and their families living in London and the surrounding area. The funds were raised at the first annual golf tournament of the new brokerage, which opened its doors in spring 2011.
“As a member of the KW Cares Committee, I am very proud of what we were able to accomplish in just a few months,” says Barbara Dwyer, REALTOR® and Co-Chair of the Keller Williams Cares Committee. “I am amazed at what this office was able to achieve with our very first Golf Tournament in support of Hospice of London. We were all involved in setting up our office and growing our businesses, and yet we were able to raise over $5,100 for Hospice of London.”
The Keller Williams Lifestyles team selected Hospice of London as their chosen charity for 2012 because of their good work and their dependence on volunteers and donations. “We are very pleased that we were able to help them to help others,” says Barbara. “Keller Williams believes in giving back to our community, and in sharing our resources with the community in which we live and work.”
