The Niagara Association of REALTORS® held their 2006 Annual Charity Golf Tournament on May 31, 2006.
A total of $10,928.50 was raised for Women’s Place St. Catharines & North Niagara and Women’s Place South Niagara Inc. These charities have provided quality shelter services in the greater Niagara area for almost 50 years. The shelters provide safe havens for abused women and children, and also provide a variety of intervention and supportive services to in-shelter clients and on an out-reach basis to members of the community.
“The members of the Niagara Association of REALTORS® provide a charitable donation from the golf tournament to a local shelter-based charity each year,” said Alan Tweedle, 2006 President of the Niagara Association of REALTORS®. “This year we are proud to support this excellent charity that provides shelter services for women and children in the greater Niagara community.”
