The North Bay Real Estate Board presented a donation cheque to the North Bay Food bank on Monday for $1000.00, a second to Jim Klein of the Gathering Place also for $1000.00 and a $2000.00 cheque to Jennifer Bywater and Brad Gavan of the Learning Library Campaign.
The North Bay REALTORS® have also donated $500.00 to the Santa Fund and $5000.00 to North Bay’s Home Ownership Affordability Partnership which provides the expertise and resources to facilitate the effective movement of low-income families with young children from rental accommodations into their own safe, secure and affordable homes.
The money, nearly $10,000 was raised at their annual golf tournament, chaired by Dave Rose, which takes place early June. The North Bay Real Estate board directors were present for the presentation.
They include 2008 President-Steve Kotan, Former President Dave Wylie and Directors: Dave Rose, Jean Jamieson and Norm Pellerin. Absent from the photo are director Brian Graham and President-elect Irene Smit.
