The REALTORS® Association of Grey Bruce Owen Sound (RAGBOS) donated $21,200 to Habitat for Humanity Grey Bruce. $20,100 was raised at the Association’s annual charity golf tournament and a further $1,100 by way of funds received through the Ontario REALTORS Care® Foundation (ORCF). Local REALTORS® in co-operation with ORCF have donated over $151,000 to Habitat builds since 2000.
RAGBOS REALTOR® members Brad Angel, Judy Howard, Gary McGillivray and Jason Steele participated in REALTOR® Day at the HFHGB “2 homes for 2 families” Build in Port Elgin held July 10, 2014 in which roof trusses were put in place.
Habitat for Humanity Grey Bruce (HFHGB) is a community-based, non-profit, faith-based organization working for a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live. Its mission is to mobilize volunteers and community partners in building affordable housing and promoting homeownership as a means to breaking the cycle of poverty.
