The Guelph & District Association of REALTORS® (GDAR) held their annual Turkey Drive earlier this month in support of the Guelph Food Bank. As a result, they gave $2,500 worth of turkeys for a grand total of 1,200 kg of food to this good cause.
30+ REALTORS® also recently volunteered at the food bank to help them get ready for their upcoming Thanksgiving food drive by packing hampers and sorting clothes.
Moving in the near future? Still have a fridge full of food that won’t make the trip? GDAR encourages you to consider donating it all to your local food bank and divert that food from the landfill and into the hands of those who could use it.
