On August 19, 2015, the Renfrew County Real Estate Board hosted their 12th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at the Pembroke Golf Club. 100 golfers participated and raised money for North Renfrew Family Services.
Over the past 11 years, the Board’s charity golf tournaments have raised $118,529 for local charities and causes, including Community Living in Pembroke and Renfrew; hospitals in Deep River, Pembroke, and Renfrew; the Petawawa Legion; schools in Barry’s Bay and Palmer Rapids; Recovery Road in Eganville; the Pembroke and Laurentian Valley Handi-bus; and the Child Poverty Action Network’s Back Pack Program.
