Royal LePage 1st London Real Estate Services, Brokerage recently participated in two major fundraisers for the Women’s Community House (WCH) in London. The first event took place on May 14, 2011, when, after many months of hard work collecting donations from friends, family, clients, and Sales Representatives, they held a very successful garage sale. As a result, $2,500 was raised as part of the Canada-wide National Garage Sale organized annually by Royal LePage.
But the REALTORS® at Royal LePage 1st London didn’t stop there. Encouraged by the success of the garage sale, they decided to hold a barbeque every Friday from June 3 through September 30. Who knew that selling a hot dog, chips, and a drink for just $4 would amount to an additional donation of $3,000?
In total, Royal LePage 1st London managed to raise $5,500 for the local Women’s Community House this past year. The money will help WCH provide essential services to abused women and children in our community.
