With the help of their clients, family and friends, Royal LePage Advantage Real Estate, Brokerage, whose offices are in Perth and Smiths Falls, Ontario, were able to donate 1,585 pounds of food to the Build a Mountain of Food campaign, in support of local food banks.
REALTORS® and staff accepted donations at their office and open houses and in exchange provided ballots to win prizes, including two sets of Ottawa Senators tickets and a gift certificate to Fiddleheads restaurant.
Royal LePage Advantage would like to thank REALTOR® Michelle Fournier for being the lead organizer within our office for rallying the troops, Barnabe’s for delivering the food, Avonlee Condominiums for their continued support, Cheryl Johnston at the EMC for donating the second set of Sens tickets, and Fiddleheads and Doug Forde for donating the gift certificate.
“It is about giving back to our community…a community we work and live in,” explains Michelle. “As agents we provide shelter everyday but no one should go hungry especially children. It is our small way of helping out and we are thankful for all the support.”
