On April 24, 2013, REALTORS® from Royal LePage Triland Realty’s St. Thomas office presented a cheque for $1,500 to Liz Brown of Violence Against Women, Services Elgin County. The funds were raised via fundraising initiatives, including poinsettia sales in December, and by their agents donating a portion of their commissions. Over the past 10 years, Royal LePage Triland Realty’s St. Thomas office has donated over $15,000 to this local charitable organization.
Violence Against Women, Services Elgin County provides 24 hour emergency shelter, 24 hour community helpline, and community based counselling programs for women who have been abused and their children. Services are offered in Aylmer, St. Thomas, and West Lorne. They work together with our community partners to end violence and reduce its impact in the lives of women and children.
Collectively, in the past 10 years Royal LePage Triland Realty has raised over $237,000.00 for women’s shelters in London, Ontario, Elgin County, and Oxford County.
