On Saturday, May 14, three Royal LePage brokerages in London and St. Thomas raised $9,900 for the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation, benefitting the Women’s Community House.
The three fundraisers held that day by Royal LePage 1st London, Royal LePage Triland and Royal LePage Landco were all part of the National Garage Sale event, organized annually by Royal LePage.
Out of the $9,900 raised by the three local brokerages, $5,000 was brought in by the Royal LePage Triland, with the support of over 50 volunteers. An estimated 1,000 shoppers perused through the multiple tents, furniture and clothing areas located in the parking lot of LSTAR, picking up bargains and treasures.
In its turn, Royal LePage 1st London raised $2,500. Their fundraiser, which included a bake sale, a plant sale and live music, took place in the office parking lot, at 1069 Wellington Rd. S. in London.
The same day, the 27 volunteers involved in the fundraiser of Royal LePage Landco succeeded to net $2,400. The brokerage held garage sales in the parking lots of their London and St. Thomas offices.
Proceeds from all three fundraisers will be donated, through the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation, to the Women’s Community House in London.
The Royal LePage Shelter Foundation is Canada’s largest public foundation dedicated exclusively to supporting shelters and ending violence against women and children. This year, Royal LePage offices across Canada set a new record by raising more than $400,000 in support of the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation.
