Alberta
Due to a devastating wildfire, a state of emergency was declared in Fort McMurray, Alberta in May 2016. All 80,000 inhabitants had to be evacuated from their homes and some neighbourhoods were completely destroyed.
The REALTOR® community banded together and raised over $739,800 for the Canadian Red Cross’ Alberta Fires Appeal via the Canadian REALTORS Care® Foundation.
Thank you to everyone who contributed and helped show Fort McMurray that REALTORS® are there for them in their time of need.
