On March 14, 2013, 32 British Columbians were honoured at the 10th Annual British Columbia Community Achievement Awards‘ ceremony held at Government House in Victoria.
One of the recipients of this year’s award is the Canadian REALTORS Care® Foundation’s own Director Sing Yeo. Sing is Senior Vice-President of Vancouver’s Royal Pacific Realty. He is a philanthropist and skilled fundraiser, supporting cultural and educational events and striving to bring cultures together. Sing is on the board of the Tapestry Foundation for Healthcare and the SUCCESS Foundation and is Vice-Chair of the Chinese Cultural Centre and the St. John’s Ambulance Richmond Branch. He also served on the Greater Vancouver Real Estate Board and the Chinese New Year Parade and the SUCCESS Walk with the Dragon.
“Communities are built by people who step up to the plate and contribute,” said Premier Christy Clark when the winners were announced in February. “On behalf of all British Columbians, I would like to thank and congratulate the outstanding individuals named today for their contributions. British Columbia’s biggest strength is people like them.”
